Visitor numbers\nremained on par with last year despite challenging weather conditions,\nparticularly in June, which was characterised by highly variable weather,\nincluding heatwaves and periods of heavy rainfall that impacted attendance.\n\n”Tivoli delivered first-half results in line with expectations. Our core\nbusiness remains strong, with both revenue and spend per guest developing\npositively as a result of increased consumption of the Gardens’ many\nattractions, restaurants and cultural offerings. At the same time, we continue\nto make long-term investments that will further develop Tivoli and enhance the\nguest experience for years to come. The upcoming opening of the new amusement\narea, Hikari, on Tivoli’s birthday on 15 August, marks an important\nmilestone in that development and is the first of several significant\ninitiatives that, over the coming years, will make Tivoli even more attractive\nto both Danish and international visitors”, says CEO, Susanne Mørch Koch.\n \nOutlook for 2026 (unchanged) \nThe result for the first half of the year is negative, as expected, and is at\na lower level than last year. This is due to seasonal fluctuations and planned\ninvestments. The circumstances of being a seasonal business entail a large\nnumber of costs for development, maintenance and preparation of the Gardens in\nthe first months of the year, when it is largely closed to guests, before\nrevenue is generated during the opening periods. At the same time, Tivoli is\ninvesting purposefully in the long-term development of the Gardens. This\nincludes, among other things, the opening of the Hikari amusement area, which\nopens tomorrow on 15 August 2026, as well as the acquisition of the gaming\nbusiness earlier this year. Both investments increase costs in the short term,\nbut are expected to enhance the guest experience and long-term earnings.\nOverall, this affects the result for the period, with EBITDA amounting to\n-38.3 million DKK compared to -17.8 million DKK last year, and profit before\ntax amounting to -100.9 million DKK compared to -76.1 million DKK last year.\n\nThe development in the first half of the year is in line with expectations and\nreflects Tivoli's previous results for the first half of the year. Tivoli\nmaintains its focus on increasing guest numbers, strengthening revenue per\nguest and creating attractive guest experiences. Against this background,\nexpectations for 2026 are maintained, with activity levels in line with 2025,\na revenue of around DKK 1,400 million and a profit before tax of DKK 145\nmillion.\n\nBest regards \n\nTom Knutzen                        Susanne Mørch\nKoch \nChairman                             CEO \n\n \nContact person: Head of press, Torben Plank phone 22237440 / tpl@tivoli.dk \n\nAttachments\n* Tivoli AS - Stock Exchange Announcement no 7 - Interim Report for the\nperiod 1 January - 30 June 2026\n(https://ml-eu.globenewswire.com/Resource/Download/8193656d-227a-441b-8f84-5fa64672b2b9)\n \n* Tivoli AS - Interim report Q2 26\n(https://ml-eu.globenewswire.com/Resource/Download/5d84a70e-7261-4388-9609-674ce3561a46)","article_body_html":"","raw_payload":{"data":{"id":"nGNEbF6sny","title":"REG-Interim report for the period 1 January - 30 June 2026","author":"Globe Newswire","ticker":"TIV","created":"2026-08-14T07:36:29.062Z","tickers":["TIV"],"exchange":"Nasdaq Copenhagen","article_body":"The Board of Director of Tivoli A/S has adopted the interim report for the\nperiod 1 January – 30 June 2026 on 14 August 2026.  \n \nResults for the period 1 January – 30 June 2026 in outline: \n* A revenue of DKK of 470.3 million compared to DKK 445.0 million last year\n(+6%). \n* An EBITDA of DKK -38.3 million compared to DKK -17.8 million last year. \n* A profit before tax of DKK -100.9 million compared to DKK -76.1 million last\nyear. \n* 1,321,000 visitors compared to 1,325,000 last year. \nTivoli delivered growth in both revenue and spend per guest during the first\nhalf of the year, driven by increased consumption across the Gardens’ wide\nrange of attractions, cultural offerings and restaurants.
