Six holes\ncompleted at the Road Cut Zone continued to extend and define gold\nmineralisation across multiple structures, including the Artisanal Shear, Main\nRoad Cut Shear and Contact Zone Fault, with drilling providing further\nevidence that the mineralised system continues to the north. Eight additional\nholes tested shear and quartz-vein structures at the Kadie Zone, returning\nseveral high-grade gold intercepts.\n\nDiamond Drill Results – Highlights:\n\nRoad Cut Zone:\n* KDD0191 * 19.0 metres (\"m”) at 1.94 g/t Au from 67.0 m, incl. 14.2 m at\n2.44 g/t Au and 9.0 m at 3.29 g/t Au\n* 4.0 m at 2.05 g/t Au from 134.0 m, incl. 1.0 m at 7.17 g/t Au\n* 2.0 m at 2.91 g/t Au from 156.0 m\n \n* KDD0188 * 7.0 m at 1.28 g/t Au from 245.0 m\n \n* KDD0182 * 6.0 m at 1.17 g/t Au from 36.0 m\nKadie Zone:\n* KDD0192 * 9.0 m at 2.44 g/t Au from 62.0 m, incl. 2.0 m at 9.78 g/t Au\n \n* KDD0185 * 2.0 m at 9.26 g/t Au from 213.0 m\nEdward Gosselin, CEO and Director of Kobo, commented: “KDD0191 is an\nimportant result for our understanding of the core Road Cut system, returning\na strong 19.0 m interval while confirming continuity of gold mineralisation\nwithin the Artisanal Shear. The hole also intersected additional\nmineralisation proximal to the Contact Zone Fault, further strengthening our\nunderstanding of how these structures contribute to the broader Road Cut gold\nsystem.”\n\nHe continued: “Separately, drilling farther north on sections RCZ000 and\nRCZ-200 is providing additional evidence that the Road Cut gold system\ncontinues beyond the areas we have drilled more extensively to date. These\nnorthern areas remain relatively lightly drilled and give our exploration team\nclear targets for follow-up as we continue testing the scale of the system.”\n\nRoad Cut Zone\n\nKDD0191 Confirms Strong Continuity at the Artisanal Shear at the Road Cut Zone\n\nDrill hole KDD0191 was completed on section RCZ500 (Figure 2) to test the\nup-dip extension of gold mineralisation associated with the Contact Zone Fault\nidentified in KDD0170, which returned 8.0 m at 2.65 g/t Au from 355.0 m (see\npress release dated August 6, 2026\n(https://www.globenewswire.com/Tracker?data=eWr5tFe_k5pLywMe27O_ARQVeLcen2ekHk2QintOw90rXXnRbMqBOeH17PYDA_hKklLj8DWtJM7A1aMuWdCMlfvM2WkxdjRt-1hPeiIsiIQy17kvtWOQlEBHQM7sTqSzTyGFTjfZSC9IrwJ0eMyZz2SEr6mNF017GRTchrWmxg5Kic2YZOE-wmujJWSNPwqiSTHxF28EtPy67P7sSFbob1PxfLG6qG6LROxkMS9R-uaLD-OnSoAYTgVSzLrT8AyUZT70I4yRIRzwvlmov1teVDmHQKVWFaRksMODtgXSuCgh6hsRkmiKMlyxTiyPUG8j)).\nKDD0191 returned two intervals proximal to the Contact Zone Fault: 4.0 m at\n2.05 g/t Au from 134.0 m, including 1.0 m at 7.17 g/t Au, and 2.0 m at 2.91\ng/t Au from 156.0 m. These results confirm the presence of mineralisation\nassociated with shearing and quartz veining along the structure.\n\nKDD0191 was also designed to test continuity of the Artisanal Shear between\nKDD0012, which returned 11.0 m at 1.71 g/t Au (see press release dated July\n11, 2024\n(https://www.globenewswire.com/Tracker?data=eWr5tFe_k5pLywMe27O_ARQVeLcen2ekHk2QintOw921mMegygmLNTwOaSN3QNBTdQ5vwtQATEv_0xFaCnW_swLAVcpOYnqMye6R_ySY7GQo8QsP7NwuWKG0hD1GNjQCryzt6PZV0qkv4S-7voJ0d7TBOYBOT2qSkfnpsqbsuTmxmPoBAVRJ-wbwjUoio1nwyIoRdxpNl1-jstjpUyN1HRjK1lIpIEJgSXlchlXqLXGEa3FChuTu-KUEQawroHJygWYoyiB8XbaYbYz6IPX2O8n17KEM3pURtIuz1mLXK556p2p5oVkE4agUuj75KRqe2fTsvm-kgh_wUhVPNyzpbhZLZEBftqP3t1LUvPfNIyP0BRjN08fLGfb4hF1DsmsLSO_df84RhuGE6O-BG1PNoj_V0LYuX_iIGckleSbxaTfF9sPxp7DqfYm_RBlGAO3sL8l9zJVM3CGb2QElegQ08NeFDefkVNoSj9CXKSWnFRw=)),\nand KDD0091, which returned 15.55 m at 2.30 g/t Au, including 8.30 m at 3.43\ng/t Au, as previously reported on July 10, 2025. KDD0191 returned 19.0 m at\n1.94 g/t Au from 67.0 m, including 14.20 m at 2.44 g/t Au and 9.0 m at 3.29\ng/t Au, demonstrating strong continuity of gold mineralisation within the\nArtisanal Shear on this section. Further drilling is planned across the Main\nRoad Cut Shear, Artisanal Shear and Contact Zone Fault, all of which remain\nopen at depth.\n\nFigure 1: Road Cut Zone Simplified Geology Map with Diamond Drill Hole Collars\n\n\n\nFigure 2: Road Cut Zone Simplified Section – RCZ500\n\n\n\nContact Zone Fault Mineralisation Extended Farther North\n\nDrill hole KDD0188 was completed on section RCZ-200 to test for potential\nmineralisation along the Contact Zone Fault farther north, based on soil\ngeochemistry and surface mapping (Figure 3). Previous drilling in KDD0153 did\nnot successfully intersect the interpreted fault position. Based on updated\ngeological information, KDD0188 was collared within the volcanic package and\nreturned three separate zones of mineralisation, highlighted by 7.0 m at 1.28\ng/t Au from 245.0 m directly associated with the Contact Zone Fault.\n\nTwo additional lower-grade intervals were intersected in the hanging wall of\nthe Contact Zone Fault, returning 4.85 m at 0.45 g/t Au from 218.0 m and 5.0 m\nat 0.40 g/t Au from 228.0 m. These results confirm the presence of the\nmineralised system at depth on this section. Further drilling is planned to\ntest the continuity of mineralisation along the structure in this area and\nup-dip and down-dip of the current results.\n\nFigure 3: Road Cut Zone Simplified Section – RCZ200\n\n\n\nDrilling Confirms Road Cut Shear System Continues North\n\nTwo holes were completed on section RCZ000 to test the extension of the shear\nsystems and gold mineralisation north of the main drilling completed to date\nat the Road Cut Zone (Figure 1). KDD0182 returned the strongest intercept of\n6.0 m at 1.17 g/t Au from 36.0 m, interpreted to be associated with the\nstructures parallel to the Road Cut Main shear system. Additional mineralised\nintervals included 3.0 m at 1.06 g/t Au from 156.0 m and 3.0 m at 1.22 g/t Au\nfrom 175.0 m appear to be related to the Road Cut Main shear system.\n\nKDD0186 was completed below KDD0182 and intersected several narrow,\nweak-to-moderate grade zones, including 2.0 m at 2.17 g/t Au from 164.0 m, 3.0\nm at 1.03 g/t Au from 186.0 m and 1.0 m at 1.47 g/t Au from 292.0 m associated\nwith the Contact Zone Fault. These holes provide further evidence that the\nshear system continues north. The approximately 200 m gap between sections\nRCZ-200 and RCZ000 remains a target for future drilling.\n\nKadie Zone\n\nKadie Drilling Returns Additional High-Grade Gold Intercepts\n\nEight drill holes were completed at the Kadie Zone to test multiple shear and\nquartz-vein structures. Significant results include 9.0 m at 2.44 g/t Au from\n62.0 m, including 2.0 m at 9.78 g/t Au, in KDD0192 on section KZ275; 2.0 m at\n9.26 g/t Au from 213.0 m in KDD0185 on section KZ250; and 2.20 m at 3.91 g/t\nAu from 62.0 m in KDD0189 on section KZ400.\n\nMost of these intercepts are associated with high-grade quartz-carbonate veins\nhosted within weakly foliated to unfoliated volcanic rocks. Additional work is\nrequired to further define the distribution and continuity of these shear and\nvein structures. Kobo has completed approximately 4,400 m across 25 drill\nholes at the Kadie Zone to date.\n\nFigure 4: Kadie Zone Simplified Geology Map with Diamond Drill Hole Collars\n\n\n\nTable 1: Summary of Significant Diamond Drill Hole Results\n\n BHID East North Elev. Drill cores were\nsawn in half, with one half remaining in the core box and the other half\nsecured into new plastic sample bags with sample number tickets. Core samples\nare drilled using HQ core barrels to below the level of oxidation and then\nreduced to NQ core barrels for the remainder of the bore hole. Samples are\ntransported to the SGS Côte d’Ivoire facility in Yamoussoukro by Kobo\npersonnel where the entire sample was prepared for analysis (prep code\nPRP86/PRP94). Sample splits of 50 grams were then analysed for gold using 50g\nFire Assay as per SGS Geochem Method FAA505. QA/QC procedures for the drill\nprogram include insertion of a certificated standards every 20 samples, a\nblank every 20 samples and a duplicate sample every 20 samples. All QAQC\ncontrol samples returned values within acceptable limits.\n\nReview of Technical Information\n\nThe scientific and technical information in this press release has been\nreviewed and approved by Paul Sarjeant, P.Geo., who is a Qualified Person as\ndefined in National Instrument 43-101. Kobo has completed approximately 4,400 m across 25 drill\nholes at the Kadie Zone to date.\n\nFigure 4: Kadie Zone Simplified Geology Map with Diamond Drill Hole Collars\n\n\n\nTable 1: Summary of Significant Diamond Drill Hole Results\n\n BHID East North Elev. mineralisation are unconfirmed and\nmineralised zones are reported as downhole lengths. Drill holes are planned to\nintersect mineralised zones perpendicular to interpreted targets. All\nintercepts reported are downhole distances, true widths are unknown.\n\nSampling, QA/QC, and Analytical Procedures\n\nDrill core was logged and sampled by Kobo personnel at site. Mr. Sarjeant is the President and Chief\nOperating Officer and Director of Kobo.\n\nAbout Kobo Resources Inc.\n\nKobo Resources is a growth-focused gold exploration company with a compelling\ngold discovery in Côte d'Ivoire, one of West Africa’s most prolific gold\ndistricts, hosting several multi-million-ounce gold mines. The Company’s\n100%-owned Kossou Gold Project is located approximately 20 km northwest of the\ncapital city of Yamoussoukro and is directly adjacent to one of the region’s\nlargest gold mines with established processing facilities.\n\nWith over 47,500 metres of diamond drilling, 5,887 metres of reverse\ncirculation (RC) drilling, and 7,200+ metres of trenching completed since\n2023, Kobo has made significant progress in defining the scale and\nprospectivity of its Kossou’s Gold Project. Exploration has focused on\nmultiple high-priority targets within a 9+ km strike length of highly\nprospective gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies, with drilling confirming\nextensive mineralisation at the Jagger, Road Cut, and Kadie Zones. The latest\nphase of drilling has further refined structural controls on gold\nmineralisation, setting the stage for the next phase of systematic exploration\nand resource development.\n\nBeyond Kossou, the Company is advancing exploration at its Kotobi Permit and\nis actively expanding its land position in Côte d'Ivoire with prospective\nground, aligning with its strategic vision for long-term growth in-country.\nKobo remains committed to identifying and developing new opportunities to\nenhance its exploration portfolio within highly prospective gold regions of\nWest Africa. Kobo offers investors the exciting combination of high-quality\ngold prospects led by an experienced leadership team with in-country\nexperience.\n\nKobo’s common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol\n\"KRI” and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol “Q1Z”.
