Reports Positive First Drill Results from the Addana Project\nin Morocco\n\n- Intercepts 657 g/t Ag -\n\nSafi Silver Corp. (TSX-V: SF; OTCPK: PNTZF) (“Safi Silver” or the\n“Company”) today reports the first assay results from its inaugural drill\nprogramme at the Addana Project, Morocco (“Addana” or the “Project”)\ncomprising holes SW2026-01, SW2026-02 and SW2026-07 at Addana SW.\n\nFour holes (SW2026-01, -02, -06 and -07) have been completed at Addana SW.\nHole SW2026-05 is in progress commencing at approximately 50 metres with\napproximately 770 metres drilled. Drilling resumed in late September after the\nsummer break, and two rigs are now operating, one at Addana SW and one at Safi\nSilver’s primary target, Antenna Hill. Results for Hole SW2026-06 are\npending.\n\nHighlights:\n\n\n * 657 g/t silver over 1.0 metre (6–7 m, sample 93209) in SW2026-02,\nunconfirmed; re-assay pending in order to definitively establish such a high\ngrade\n\n * 35.52 g/t silver over 1.0 metre (147–148 m, sample SW7-0176), with 472 ppm\nPb and 33 ppm Sb, in SW2026-07\n\nResults\n\n\n * SW2026-02 returned an unconfirmed silver assay of 657 g/t over 1.0 metre, from\n6.0 to 7.0 metres (sample 93209), in broken core from a fault zone. This\nresult is substantially higher than all other silver assays and has not yet\nbeen verified. The sample is being re-assayed, and the Company will report the\nre-assay result alongside the original assay.\n\n * SW2026-07 returned 35.52 g/t silver over 1.0 metre, from 147.0 to 148.0\nmetres, within the first quartzite unit intersected beneath the schist. This\ninterval also returned 472 ppm lead and 33 ppm antimony. Additional individual\n1.0-metre intervals in this hole returned silver grades of 9.15, 8.91, 8.41\nand 7.63 g/t. Excluding the unconfirmed result from sample 93209, the highest\nsilver grades in SW2026-01 and SW2026-02 were 5 g/t and 11 g/t, respectively.\n\n * Silver grades of 1 g/t or greater were reported in 45 of 162 core samples from\nSW2026-01, 23 of 157 samples from SW2026-02, and 44 of 174 samples from\nSW2026-07. Maximum lead and zinc values were 2,167 ppm and 2,287 ppm,\nrespectively (Table 1). Copper values did not exceed 165 ppm, except in sample\n93209, which returned 713 ppm.\n\n * The drillholes intersected centimetre- to decimetre-scale quartz–iron oxide\nveins consistent with the vein style documented in the Jbel Addana district\nand whose demonstration was a technical goal Safi Silver wanted to confirm.\n\n * All reported intervals are core lengths; true widths have not been determined\nand are expected to be less than the reported core lengths. The district’s\nmineralised structures are interpreted to be vertical. Sample intervals of 1.0\nand 1.5 metres are longer than the vein intersections; consequently, the\nreported grades include both vein material and adjacent wall rock.\n\nJed Richardson, President & CEO of Safi Silver Corp., said: “These first\nfew results from our first drill campaign in Morocco exceed our expectations\nfor several reasons. Firstly, they do not represent our top targets. What\nmakes this particularly exciting is that this secondary target, selected\ninitially for its accessibility, lies nearly 40 kilometres from the expected\ncore of the system. Encountering this style of mineralization so far from the\nanticipated centre reinforces our enthusiasm for the broader scale potential\nof Addana and the opportunity to explore a much larger mineralized system.\nSecondly, the results are shallow. This initial drilling program has\neffectively taken a trenching approach, designed to sample the near-surface\ngeology in an area where surface disturbance makes reliable assessment\ndifficult. Even at this early stage, the results are suggestive and provide\nencouraging indications of what may lie at depth. Morocco, in the last few\nyears, has demonstrated itself to be an exciting silver jurisdiction. We\nbelieve that we have a large, strategic and prospective land package. Further\nresults from Addana, both the southwest zone and initial results from our\nprimary target, Antenna Hill, are forthcoming.”\n Hole Core samples Ag ≥ 1 g/t Maximum Ag, g/t (interval, m) Maximum Pb, ppm (interval, m) Maximum Zn, ppm (interval, m) \n SW2026-01 162 45 5 (176.5–178) 914 (18–19) 2,287 (109.9–110.7) \n SW2026-02 157 23 657 (6–7), unconfirmed; next 11 (17–18) 1,978 (23–24) 1,879 (162.0–163.5) \n SW2026-07 174 44 35.52 (147–148) 2,167 (6–7) 1,004 (7–8) \n Table 1. Drilled collars are within\napproximately 2–3 metres of planned; surveyed positions will be reported.\n\nInterpretation and Next Steps\n\nPublished work on the district by El Ouad et al. (2025, Journal of African\nEarth Sciences, Vol. 232, 105801) describes mineralisation at Antenna Hill as\ndiscrete, vertically dipping veins approximately 20–30 centimetres thick,\npreferentially hosted in competent sandstone and quartzite.\n\nAt Addana SW, the drilling intersected a sandstone-dominated sequence with a\ngraphitic schist interval of approximately 50 metres. The upper sandstone\nhosts the historic workings on the SW hill. The highest silver value other\nthan sample 93209, 35.52 g/t in SW2026-07, occurs in quartzite immediately\nbeneath the schist, but the competent sandstone intersected elsewhere returned\nonly low silver values. Whether the Addana SW veins share the host-rock and\nstructural controls described at Antenna Hill has therefore not yet been\nestablished.\n\nThe drilling has immensely improved the understanding of the local\nstratigraphy. The contact of the graphitic unit is interpreted to be\nessentially flat-lying within the area drilled, providing a stratigraphic\ndatum to guide the positioning of subsequent drillholes.\n\nThe Company is re-assaying sample 93209 and submitting 52 core samples for\ngold analysis by fire assay. Drilling is also advancing to the primary Addana\ntarget, where access has been restored following clearance of landslide debris\nat Antenna Hill. Planned holes will test mapped vein structures within the\ncompetent host units. Remaining assay results, including the re-assay of\nsample 93209 and the gold analyses, will be reported as they become available.\n\nDr. Andreas Rompel, Chief Exploration Officer, commented, “We are encouraged\nby the initial high-grade silver result and the presence of base-metal\nmineralization in the SW project area. The high-grade silver result is\nundergoing confirmatory re-assaying, and we are looking forward to completing\nthe remaining three holes to further evaluate the mineralized system. With\ndrilling at Antenna Hill expected to commence shortly, we are excited to test\nadditional prospective targets and advance our understanding of the\nProject’s potential.”\n\nSampling, Analyses and Security\n\nCore was sampled at nominal 1.0 metre (HQ) and 1.5 metre (NQ) intervals,\nadjusted to geological contacts, sawn in half, with one half sent for analysis\nand the other retained on site. Sampling was supervised by the Company’s\ngeological consultant and samples remained in Company custody until dispatch\nto the laboratory.\n\nSamples were prepared and analysed by AFRILAB (African Laboratory for Mining\n& Environment), Marrakech, Morocco, which is independent of the Company\nand holds CALA ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation No. 1005059. Samples were crushed\nand pulverised (PM-PRE.MO/ANA/015) and analysed by four-acid digestion with\nICP finish (PRE.MO/ANA/038; 39 elements; silver detection limit 1 g/t) under\ncertificates R-8321-26 to R-8328-26, R-10326-26 to R-10329-26, R-10331-26 to\nR-10334-26, R-10878-26 to R-10885-26 and R-10892-26. Gold was not included;\nfifteen grab samples assayed separately by fire assay (R-10330-26) all\nreturned less than 0.05 g/t gold.\n\nQuality control. Blanks, certified reference materials and duplicates\n(approximately 15% of samples) were inserted. Results are acceptable at this\nstage, with some coarse-reject duplicate rechecks ongoing with the laboratory.\n\nCore recovery averaged approximately 94% in SW2026-01 and was higher in\nSW2026-02 and SW2026-07. The Company is not aware of any other drilling,\nsampling, recovery or other factor that could materially affect the accuracy\nor reliability of the results reported.\n\nData Verification\n\nData verification was carried out by Alexandr Beloborodov, P.Geo. (OGQ #1637),\nPresident of ABG Exploration Inc., a geological consultant to the Company, who\nsupervised core logging and sampling and the insertion of control samples,\nreviewed the Company and laboratory quality-control results, and compared the\nassay database with the laboratory certificates.\n\nQualified Person\n\nThe scientific and technical information in this news release has been\nreviewed and approved by Dr. Andreas Rompel, Pr.Sci.Nat., FSAIMM, Chief\nExploration Officer of Safi Silver, a Qualified Person as defined by National\nInstrument 43-101. Dr. Rompel is not independent of the Company.\n\nAbout Safi Silver Corp.\n\nSafi Silver Corp. is a publicly traded Canadian exploration and development\ncompany with a core focus on copper and silver holdings in mining-friendly\nAfrican jurisdictions. In Morocco, the Company is advancing two exploration\nprojects: Addana, which hosts silver-bearing polymetallic veins, and Silver\nHill, a sedimentary copper prospect undergoing ongoing evaluation. In Namibia,\nSafi Silver holds the Kalahari Copperbelt Project.\n\nCautionary Statements\n\nThere has been insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource at\nAddana, and it is uncertain whether further exploration will result in any\ntarget being delineated as a mineral resource. Published descriptions of the\ndistrict and results from historic workings are not indications of results\nthat may be obtained at the Company’s properties.\n\nForward-Looking Statements\n\nThis news release may contain forward-looking statements. These statements\ninclude statements regarding the drilling program at Addana, the continuation\nof drilling, the receipt and reporting of assay results from the remaining\ndrill holes and of re-assays, the planned testing of the primary Addana\ntarget, the mineralization and prospectivity of the Addana Project, the\nanticipated benefits of the Company’s strategic focus on its Moroccan silver\nprojects, and the Company’s future plans and objectives. These statements\nare based on current expectations and assumptions that are subject to risks\nand uncertainties, including the outcome of re-assays and the laboratory’s\nquality-control review, receipt of necessary approvals and permits, weather\nand site access, general business, economic, competitive, political and social\nuncertainties, future mineral prices and market demand, accidents, labour\ndisputes and shortages and other risks of the mining industry. Actual results\ncould differ materially because of factors discussed in the management\ndiscussion and analysis section of Safi Silver’s interim and most recent\nannual financial statements or other reports and filings with the applicable\nCanadian securities regulations. Safi Silver does not assume any obligation to\nupdate any forward-looking statements, except as required by applicable laws.\n\nNeither TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that\nterm is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts\nresponsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.\n\n\n\nView source version on businesswire.com:\nhttps://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261014824260/en/\n(https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261014824260/en/)\n\nTom Panoulias, VP Corporate Development\n\n+1 (647) 276-6002 x 1127\n\nIR@safisilver.com (mailto:IR@safisilver.com) | www.safisilver.com\n(https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.safisilver.com&esheet=54622344&newsitemid=20261014824260&lan=en-US&anchor=www.safisilver.com&index=1&md5=eaa6cc298261d3d2e644313e9dc54c2c)\n\n\nCopyright Business Wire 2026","article_body_html":"","raw_payload":{"data":{"id":"nBw8XqjzTa-20261014","title":"Safi Silver Corp. Safi Silver does not assume any obligation to\nupdate any forward-looking statements, except as required by applicable laws.\n\nNeither TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that\nterm is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts\nresponsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.\n\n\n\nView source version on businesswire.com:\nhttps://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261014824260/en/\n(https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261014824260/en/)\n\nTom Panoulias, VP Corporate Development\n\n+1 (647) 276-6002 x 1127\n\nIR@safisilver.com (mailto:IR@safisilver.com) | www.safisilver.com\n(https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.safisilver.com&esheet=54622344&newsitemid=20261014824260&lan=en-US&anchor=www.safisilver.com&index=1&md5=eaa6cc298261d3d2e644313e9dc54c2c)\n\n\nCopyright Business Wire 2026"},"type":"article","timestamp":"2026-10-14T21:00:00.370423661Z","server_sent_at_ms":1792011600370},"received_at":"2026-10-14T21:00:00.423Z","source_url":"https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261014824260/en/"},"analysis":{"id":"157817","press_release_id":"169581","analysis_json":{"industry":{"label":"Metals & Mining","sector":"Materials"},"redFlags":["Headline 657 g/t silver intercept is unconfirmed and comes from broken core in a fault zone; re-assay pending","No mineral resource defined; true widths not determined and expected to be less than core lengths","Sample intervals longer than vein intersections dilute reported grades with wall rock","Early-stage exploration results with low grades outside the isolated intercepts (5-11 g/t best in SW2026-01/-02)"],"eventType":"operations_update","narrative":"Safi Silver reported first assay results from its inaugural drill program at the Addana Project in Morocco, with three of four completed holes assayed.\n\nThe headline intercept was an unconfirmed 657 g/t silver over 1.0 metre in SW2026-02 from broken core in a fault zone, now undergoing re-assay; the highest confirmed result was 35.52 g/t Ag over 1.0 metre in SW2026-07.\n\nManagement says the mineralization at Addana SW lies nearly 40 kilometres from the primary Antenna Hill target, which it views as evidence of a potentially much larger system, with two rigs now operating and Antenna Hill drilling commencing shortly.\n\nNo mineral resource has been defined and true widths are undetermined; remaining assays, the 93209 re-assay, and gold fire assays are pending.","sentiment":"bullish","agentHooks":{"shouldPost":false,"suggestedAngle":"First Morocco drill results confirm vein-style silver at Addana, but the headline 657 g/t grade awaits re-assay -- watch for confirmation and Antenna Hill results."},"keyFigures":{"drugName":"","customDimensions":{"holes_assayed":3,"top_intercept":"657 g/t Ag over 1.0 m (unconfirmed, re-assay pending)","holes_completed":4,"confirmed_top_intercept":"35.52 g/t Ag over 1.0 m in SW2026-07","core_recovery_sw2026_01_pct":94,"samples_submitted_for_gold_assay":52}},"quotedText":"These first few results from our first drill campaign in Morocco exceed our expectations for several reasons.
