The Caniapisc Au project is\nwholly owned by Midland and consists of 315 exclusive exploration rights\n(“EER”) covering an area of 159 square kilometres.\n\nHighlights:\n* The 2026 first phase exploration program successfully identified several new\ngold-bearing boulders, with a maximum value of 15.8 g/t Au on a selected\nboulder grab sample in a new area;\n* A total of nine (9) selected boulder grab samples returned gold values\nexceeding 0.5 g/t Au, including five (5) values greater than 1.0 g/t Au;\n* The Au-Zn-Ag-Mn signature continues to be present in the south of the\nproject;\n* LiDAR and high-resolution imagery successfully used to identify potential\nboulder fields and outcrops on the project.\nThe multiphase 2026 exploration program included three phases of prospecting,\nsoil sampling and a LiDAR and high-resolution imagery survey. The three phases\nprospecting program targeted the 2025 gold-bearing mineralized boulders area\n(see press releases by Midland dated September 9 and October 28, 2025),\nunexplained soil anomalies, electromagnetic (“EM”) airborne anomalies, and\nidentified induced polarization (“IP”) anomalies (see press release by\nMidland dated May 28, 2026).\n\nThe early summer exploration program was completed and this first phase\nincluded geological mapping, prospecting, soil sampling and completion of the\nLiDAR survey. The LiDAR survey and its high-resolution imagery were successful\nin identifying sectors susceptible to contain boulder fields or possible\noutcrops and were used to prioritize the prospecting areas. The maximum result of 15.8 g/t Au was obtained from a\nselected grab sample of a boulder of banded amphibolite containing a pyritic\nquartz vein. The 15.4 g/t Au value was obtained from a selected grab sample of\na boulder of a felsic gneiss. These boulders highlight a new area of interest\nabout 2.5 kilometres northeast of the 2025 Au-Zn-Mn-Ag and\nAu-Zn-Ag-(Pb)-bearing boulders and also near the fuchsite bearing boulder that\nreturned 6.47 g/t Au when resampled (see press releases by Midland dated\nSeptember 9 and October 28, 2025). Also, three (3) amphibolite and gneissic\noutcrops in this new area returned gold values between 0.20 and 0.12 g/t Au.\nNew Au-Ag-Zn-(Pb)-bearing boulders were again identified in the southern\nportion of the project, where several IP chargeability anomalies were found\n(see press release by Midland dated May 28, 2026). Selected boulder grab\nsample C2449722 returned values of 2.46 g/t Au, >100 g/t Ag, 0.8% Zn, >5000\nppm Pb, and 7.7% MnO. These values, combined with low sulfur contents, again\npoints towards the Au-Zn-Mn-Ag association observed in 2025 and the presence\nof these additional boulders could suggest that these manganese garnets\n(spessartine) boulders have a local source. New gold-bearing boulders (>1.0\ng/t Au) were also identified close to chargeability anomalies. However, these\nIP anomalies remain unexplained, due to the absence of outcrops in this area.\n\nThese new mineralized boulders will add to further understanding the\ngeological context and refine the boulder dispersal train. Additionally, two\nmore phases of prospecting were conducted in August and September. Results are\npending.\n\nCaniapisc Au Project\n\nThe Caniapisc Au project lies south of the Caniapiscau Reservoir and is\ngeologically located within the Ashuanipi Subprovince, a lesser-known and\nexplored portion of the Archean Superior Province. The project is more\nspecifically located in the Raynouard Complex, characterized by a 50\nkilometre-long volcanosedimentary belt comprising bimodal volcanic sequences,\nmetasedimentary rocks and iron formations. Historical exploration work, to the\nsouth of the Caniapisc Au project, highlights the potential of the Raynouard\nComplex with the presence of volcanogenic Cu-Zn-Ag-Au and porphyry Cu-Au-Ag-Mo\nmineralization. The Caniapisc Au project is strategically located north of\nthese showings, where a historical 2014 till sampling survey identified gold\nanomalies. Results from five (5) till samples in 2025 confirm the historical\ngold-in-till anomalies (see press release by Midland dated May 20, 2025).\n\nThe 2025 exploration programs on the Caniapisc Au project included geological\nmapping, prospecting, soil sampling, and a magnetic and electromagnetic\ngeophysical survey. These programs successfully identified several Au-Zn-Mn-Ag\nand Au-Zn-Ag-(Pb)-bearing boulders within a 2-kilometre radius up-ice from\ngold-in-till anomalies where 16 selected grab samples yielded values greater\nthan 2.0 g/t Au, including a sample returning 24.5 g/t Au (see press releases\nby Midland dated September 9 and October 28, 2025). While boulders are mostly\nobserved until now in the project area, an amphibolite outcrop in the\nsouth-western part of the project returned a value of 0.56 g/t Au from a\nselected grab sample (see press release by Midland dated October 28, 2025). A\n2,001-kilometres magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical survey covering the\nCaniapisc Au project was completed and the final data is being evaluated to\nfurther understand the geological and structural context of the project.\n\nQuality Control\n\nRock samples from the project were analyzed at Actlabs laboratories in\nAncaster, Ontario, by ICP-MS with 4-acid digestion for metals, and by standard\nfire assay on 30-gram fractions with atomic absorption finish for gold and by\nICP-OES fusion for major elements (including MnO). Soil samples are processed\nand analyzed at Actlabs laboratories in Ancaster, Ontario, by neutron\nactivation (namely for Au) and ICP-OES with 4-acid extraction (namely for Zn\nand Mn), after sieving to -177 microns. Exploration programs are designed, and\nresults are interpreted by Qualified Persons employing a Quality\nAssurance/Quality Control program consistent with industry best practices,\nincluding the alternate use of standards and blanks for every 20 samples\n\nCautionary statements\n\nGrab samples are selective by nature and reported values are not necessarily\nindicative of mineralized zones.\n\nMineralization occurring at deposits and former mines mentioned in this press\nrelease is not necessarily indicative of mineralization that may be\nintersected on projects held by Midland described in this press release.\n\nAbout Midland\n\nMidland targets the mineral potential of Quebec to make the discovery of new\ndeposits of gold and critical metals.
