The contracts also include the\napplication of anticorrosion coatings as well as pipes cladded with Corrosion\nResistant Alloy (CRA) weld overlay.\n\nVallourec has become the first licensee of Proxxima(TM) resin systems with\nGDLX(TM) subsea insulation technology, licensed by ExxonMobil to commercially\ndeploy the technology. To support this development, the Group will invest in\nan upgrade of its Vallourec Coating Solutions plant, based in Serra, Espírito\nSanto, Brazil.\n\nProxxima(TM) resin systems with GDLX(TM) subsea insulation technology\ndelivers enhanced thermal performance compared with conventional insulation\nsystems. Its single-layer molded design can be applied directly to bare steel,\nenabling faster pipe insulation turnaround time. The insulation offers\nenhanced cool-down times, helping operators reduce operational costs\nassociated with mitigation measures such as inhibitor injection or dead-oil\ncirculation during extended shutdowns.  \n\nPhilippe Guillemot, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive\nOfficer of Vallourec, commented:“These new contracts further reinforce\nVallourec’s strategic positioning as a key supplier to ExxonMobil Guyana\nLimited.
